Composite functions

Two function machines, joined in a chain — that is all a composite function is. In this lesson you will learn to read fg(x) the right way round, evaluate composites at a point, build fg(x) and gf(x) with algebra, work out f squared, and solve equations like fg(x) = 9. Then we run the whole idea backwards and learn to split a big function into two smaller ones. By the end, you will handle every composite question the exam can throw at you.
