In this first lesson we define exactly what an entrepreneur is, meet the qualities that make entrepreneurs succeed, rate ourselves honestly on each one, and learn how to strengthen them. We look at the role entrepreneurs play in Namibia and draw practical lessons from Namibian success stories.

- Assess and analyse success stories of Namibian entrepreneurs and draw lessons for themselves and their enterprises
- Apply the qualities or characteristics of successful entrepreneurs in their day-to-day lives
