Creativity & the 4P model (person, process, product, press)

Narrated lesson · press play

Every business you have ever seen began in the very same place: inside someone's mind, as a creative idea. In this lesson we define creativity in plain words, then meet a simple map called the four P model — person, process, product and press — that explains how creativity works. Best of all, we discover that creativity is not a rare gift for a lucky few but a skill anyone can grow, and we help you notice how creative you already are.

What you'll learn in this lesson

By the end you should be able to (NSSCO Entrepreneurship 2.1):

  • Define creativity
  • Identify and explain the variables in the 4P model of creativity (person, process, product, press)
  • Demonstrate an awareness of their own creative abilities
